Tool box and generator

Fixed up some of the electrics, i have spark so i managed to keep everything intact.

The “tool box” is complete, i just have to seal a couple of unused holes, add a battery strip and a screw to keep the fuse pannel in place.

* Just noticed the next morning that i also added a couple of scratches to ….everything. Not very big so i hope i can fill/polish them.

The generator is also in place, and it seems to be working ok, i have a nice strong spark, and everything fell into place without too much trouble.

All that’s left of the electrical part of the job is to strap the main cables to the frame, add the back light, mount the brake sensor, and the sidecar plug.

Almost there my ass

2 Octomber 2012

New Powerdynamo 12v system just arrived. It’s easy to install and use however it’s very delicate so be careful with the coil.

First attempt to start the engine was a success. I had to turn it off really fast and install the exhaust or my eardrums would have been toast.

Wish i could say everything was ok, i have a lot of things to adjust on it, especially the carburators, and at the moment i had no idea how to do it. Time for the google translate vs german forum instructions, round 1. I am however rather happy at the moment that i managed to start the engine and nothing blew up.
